Remote Assessments

    Proudly funded by:

We are pleased to announce the launch of Sustain & Enable's Rural Project, funded by the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment (MBIE)'s Supporting Energy Education in Communities (SEEC) Programme. Our primary objective is to provide energy advice and support to households in Auckland and rural areas of New Zealand, now including remote communities and towns with populations under 20,000, where accessing these types of services can be challenging.

Expanding Our Reach:

Building on our successful energy- and carbon-saving education initiatives, we are extending our impact to include households that include disabled individuals and expanding our services to cover rural areas previously under-served by similar initiatives. We offer both in-person and online home assessments, making our services accessible to Auckland residents and those in more distant locations without a community-based service like ours.

Practical Solutions For Energy Efficiency:

Our team will conduct a comprehensive assessment to gauge possible issues within the home. We aim to then provide specifically tailored advice for each assessed household. As part of our this programme, we offer helpful support to enhance energy efficiency in your home.

Eligibility:

Sustain & Enable's services are specifically available to households occupied by either a disabled person or someone over the age of 55. Our goal is to improve comfort and energy efficiency in harder-to-reach areas, enabling eligible residents to enjoy warmer and healthier living spaces while saving on energy costs. If you live rurally or in a small town of less than 20,000 people and find it hard to access services, this project is for you.

The Remote Project is a testament to our commitment to providing energy advice and support to those who need it most. We aim to help create a sustainable and energy-efficient future for all, no matter where they call home.
